Well Mr & Mrs Goodridge certainly did! They got hit by a power surge/lightning which unfortunatley caused a bit of damage to some sensative elctronics within the house. Nick replaced the boiler main printed circuit board and also the control unit on the pressure pump in order to restore heat and water into the property. Luckily the Goodridges were insured against such events and Nick was able to invoice the insurance company directly for a smooth settlement.

Cold Snap just after Christmas

Tim Wheatley from Tala who has been a customer of Nicks for some years called up in a bit of a panic the day before new years eve. His boiler had packed up in the middle of a cold snap. Nick wnet up to take a look and had to give Mr Wheatley the bad news – it was going to be costly as the motor that drives the deisel pump and air blower had packed up. Mr Wheatley was aware that the unit was quite old and opted for a new burner unit which Nick managed to order, set up and install the same day.

Mr Wheatley said’very quick and efficient. Thank you!’

A rainy day in Peyia

Nick and the team were asked to go to a hous ein Pegeia to sort out a few things for Mrs Young who had just moved into her house. They installed a cooker and changed around light fittings.

NMS LTD received an urgent call from an owner back in the UK.

Kay & Ian who own a property at Theos Heights in Pegeia called Nicks Maintenance Services from the UK after receiving a call from a neighbour saying that water was coming off their roof. One of Nicks technicians sorted it out, turned out to be a split pipe.

Ian said ‘We were in the UK at the time so it was great to be able to call Nick and know the job would be done. He called to confirm completion of work, giving us peace of mind. All ok – thanks’.

Central heating repairs in Tsada

Beverley from Tsada called Nicks Maintenance Services as Autumn approached as she has tested her deisel cintral heating ready for the winter and it did not work. She said’ a very polite man who came, very happy with the work and prices. Left my house clean from the mess made with the work. Thank You’.
